create_object#

dlubal.api.rsection.Application.create_object(self, obj, model_id=None)#

Creates a single object in the model.

Parameters:

obj (obj) – An object to be created. Refer to the Model for available objects.
model_id (ModelId | None) – Unique identifier of the model.

Returns:

None

Example

rsection_app.create_object(
    rsection.structure_core.Material(
        no=1,
        name="S235"
    )
)

await rsection_app.create_object(
    new rsection.structure_core.Material{
        no=1,
        name="S235"
    });

Tip

The object definition for the create_object function only requires the object number. The other attributes are optional and can be omitted if the default values are sufficient.
